U-Pass referendum set for February

The UMSU board of directors passed a motion at its Dec. 5 meeting scheduling a referendum of the student body to decide the fate of the U-Pass program.

A U of M professor said she feels “offended and betrayed” after being offered several severance packages from university administration after filing a sexual harassment complaint against a fellow faculty member that was later substantiated.





Campus food bank demand surging

Visits have taken a sharp upturn in recent years — 2017 saw just over 500 visits to the U of M food bank, and just over 700 in 2018. Between January and October of this year, visits to the food bank have already surpassed the entirety of 2018’s numbers.
