The Manitoba Bison men’s volleyball team slipped up at the 2017 U Sports volleyball nationals in Edmonton.
Kearley Abbott of the women’s volleyball team was named the Canada West rookie of the year.
They started the weekend off with a 3-0 win versus the UBC Thunderbirds in the semi-final, and lost a close battle 3-2 in the final on Saturday against the Trinity Western Spartans.
