Bison women’s volleyball fall short against Thompson Rivers

On Friday night, the University of Manitoba Bisons women’s volleyball team played out a 3-1 loss (17-25, 20-25, 26-24, 19-25) to the Thompson Rivers Wolfpack. The Bisons see their losing streak extend to six games, with a 2-15 conference record. With the win, the Wolfpack extend their winning streak to three games and they sit four points back of fourth placed UBC Okanagan.



Huskies hand Bisons 3-1 defeat in women’s hockey

The University of Manitoba Bisons women’s hockey team couldn’t manage to break free of a three-game losing skid heading into Friday’s matchup at Wayne Fleming Arena against the Saskatchewan Huskies – falling 3-1 to the visitors.


Manitoba sweeps Regina, wins battle on the glass

Saturday afternoons rematch between the University of Manitoba Bisons and Regina Cougars saw Manitoba’s starting five put on a show as each starter scored a minimum of 12 points. Justus Alleyn led the way with 13 overall in a game where the herd never took their foot off the gas pedal, dominating from start to finish in a 77-63 victory.
