With Bisons football spring camp quickly approaching, the Manitoban decided to take a positional look at some of the new recruits entering the fold and what they’ll be bringing to the table for the herd both this season and in the years to come.

The University of Manitoba Bisons men’s basketball team saw their historic playoff run end at the Canada West Final Four. For Wyatt Anders, last weekend’s losses are also his final games in brown and gold. The co-captain discussed a few of his emotions in what was a memorable career with the herd.

From the Olympics to overtime hero

From time to time, the CIS is blessed with the presence of international stars in women’s hockey. In 2011, Canadian heroine Hayley Wickenheiser kicked off her CIS career with Calgary, while Russia’s Iya Gavrilova also joined the Dinos three years ago. This season, Venla Hovi joined the University of Manitoba Bisons from Finland.
