Heading into the holiday break, this team deserves to be included in the CIS Top 10 conversation.

Adidas is a massive global company that, in current years, has been acquiring more and more lucrative sponsorship deals. They are perhaps more prevalent in the European market, but they are slowly making their way into North America.

Last week, the University of Manitoba men’s hockey team traveled to Regina in search of some wins to snap their four-game losing streak. They did just that, thumping the Regina Cougars 6-2. In the rematch on Friday, the Bisons came away with another two points as they beat the Cougars 5-3.

The Bisons men’s and women’s volleyball teams were in Regina last weekend and had a successful end to their first half campaigns.

The University of Manitoba Bisons women’s hockey team hosted the Regina Cougars last weekend recording a 2-1 loss and 1-0 win on Friday and Saturday respectively. The victory improved the Bisons’ record to 2-2 against the Cougars in the season series while Rachel Dyck’s shutout notched the team’s fourth of the campaign thus far.
