This weekend the University of Manitoba Bison volleyball programs played the Mount Royal University Cougars at home.
Coming from small towns in northwestern Ontario, Bison volleyball players Kevin Negus and Grant Legaree each blazed their own trail to the University of Manitoba.
In the volleyball portion of the Duckworth Challenge, the University of Manitoba took a 2-0 lead after both the Bison men’s and women’s teams beat the University of Winnipeg Wesmen.
This weekend the Bison volleyball programs welcomed some top tier competition.
The Bison volleyball teams were in Vancouver for a series against the University of British Columbia. The men managed a split, but the women were swept.
