Bison men’s volleyball team crush Wolfpack, women’s losing streak continues

The men won handily, not dropping a single set all weekend to bring their current win streak to 16. The women lost 3-1 on Friday and 3-0 on Saturday; they have now lost six in a row.

The men brought their winning streak to 12 with a sweep, while the women had their four-game winning streak snapped after getting losing both games.

The University of Manitoba women’s volleyball team defeated the Winnipeg Wesmen 3-1 (15-25, 26-24, 25-20, 26-24), at the Investors Group Athletic Centre on Thursday.
The #3 University of Manitoba Bisons men’s volleyball team took care of the Winnipeg Wesmen in the 26th annual Duckworth Challenge 3-0 (25-14, 25-19, 25-21)
After a conference bye, the University of Manitoba volleyball teams were on the road against the Saskatchewan Huskies. Both the men and women earned sweeps on the weekend.
This weekend, the Bison volleyball teams were tasked with playing the University of Alberta. Both the men and women’s volleyball team are ranked number one in the country.
