Losers of eight of its last nine games, the U of M Bisons women’s hockey team did its best John Wick impression over the weekend, telling the rest of Canada West, “Yeah, I’m thinking I’m back.”
Yet, with 17 goals through 15 games, the club is on pace for 29 on the season. This would put the Bisons last among teams in the conference last season.

It all comes down to how the kill is deployed.
The herd failed to topple the University of Calgary Dinos Saturday in the opening round of the Hardy Cup playoffs, losing 47-46.
Following a dominant 43-29 win over the conference-leading University of Calgary Dinos on Oct. 19, the Bisons were crushed 47-14 in Regina against the University of Regina Rams.
