Position: Social Media Associate

Salary: $324.00 biweekly

About the position: The social media associate is expected to aid the social media editor in sharing articles on social media, tracking website/social media analytics, and preparing and sending a weekly newsletter. The social media associate should be familiar with Instagram, TikTok, BlueSky and YouTube. Experience with Issuu, Mailchimp, WordPress, or social media management software is also an asset. The workload for this position may vary from week-to-week. Regular duties include attending weekly staff meetings.
Qualifications:
- The ideal candidate has previous experience in social media usage, and familiar with social media usage for businesses, events, or organizations.
- Experience with regular assignment deadlines is also an asset.
- Applicants should currently be a student or have been a student in the past two years.
