Rogers TV is seeking guests for the third season of The Empower Women Show.
Hosted by Jayne Trimble and based in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, The Empower Women Show consists of 15-minute episodes where Trimble interviews women from across Canada who are leaders, professionals and entrepreneurs.
Trimble, a musician — under the stage name OXLIP — businesswoman and owner of the women-centred record label World Peach Records, is passionate about helping women pursue and achieve their dreams. The record label was founded in 2015 to respond to a lack of female representation in the music industry. Through World Peach Records, Trimble has helped artists tour internationally and play major festivals, such as SXSW and Canadian Music Week.
“Empowering women is important to me because I want all women to recover from ‘playing small’ and accepting crumbs,” Trimble explained.
The Empower Women Show premiered last April and has recently been picked up by AccessNow TV to be broadcasted to more viewers. Since its premiere, the show has been viewed nearly 200,000 times on YouTube, along with 96,000 views on Instagram and 83,000 views on Facebook.
The show’s mission is to “elevate and promote” women through interviewing them, providing them with a platform to share their stories and showcase their activities and businesses. This is summed up by the show’s official Instagram bio, which states, “Queens belong on thrones — let’s put them there.”
Discussions on the show centre on lifestyle, mindset and personal growth, with topics including body image, family and relationships, financial literacy and fertility journeys. These stories are shared to inspire women, challenge popular narratives about women’s potential, educate and promote financial literacy among women and promote women-owned businesses.
One notable episode, aired Nov. 19, 2025, was in collaboration with Women Entrepreneurs of Saskatchewan. The episode featured five entrepreneurs who came from rural communities in the province.
As stated in a document summarizing the show’s purpose, The Empower Women Show intends to demonstrate that “women can be businesswomen and mothers” and “we can have it all.” The program has received praise, such as from Bell Media’s Sophie Kerenedis who said, “It’s always great to see women supporting women on television!”
The Empower Women Show is open to all women who might wish to appear on the upcoming third season. There is a special interest in highlighting women in non-traditional roles such as in agriculture and STEM. Those who are interested in applying, or in nominating someone to be a guest, are encouraged to fill out the application and nomination form, which can be found in the show’s Instagram bio.
“I host The Empower Women Show because I want to see all women living with purpose,” Trimble’s statement reads. “The show will be a message of hope.”
