UMSU to vote on operating budget at April 3 meeting

The University of Manitoba Students’ Union (UMSU) will be voting to approve the 2025-26 operating budget at the next board of directors meeting, set for Thursday, April 3 at 7 p.m. in the UMSU council chambers.

The students’ union draft operating budget was previously presented by vice-president finance and operations Carolyn Wang at the March 20 board meeting and has been approved by both UMSU’s executive and finance committee.

The budget covers the fiscal period from May 1, 2025 to April 30, 2026 and calls for balanced revenue and expenditures each at $2,786,866.
