There were a total of 50 Bison athletes, recruits, and alumni representing Manitoba at the Canada Games, including track and field head coach Donna Kaye. Kaye was impressed with the new track facility that her athletes were competing on in Prince Edward Island and was also pleasantly surprised by the significant fan support at the track events.

“I am happy with the performance of all the track athletes, they trained hard for the Games and their dedication paid off,” Said Kaye. She looks forward to bringing a new group of young athletes to the next Canada Summer Games in 2013.
