March was a relatively quiet month for security services.

There were four reports of laptop theft on campus. Two laptops were taken from offices, while another two were taken when individuals left them behind and returned to discover the computers missing. One of these laptops was later recovered.

In addition to laptop thefts, there was one theft of a bicycle, and one theft of supplies from a construction site. There were three incidents of theft involving parking services, including one incident of tailgating from the parkade, and two involving parking tickets.

There was one incident of assault, involving three individuals who knew each other. Charges were not pressed.

There was also one incident where a teacher’s assistant was threatened after catching a student cheating on an exam.
