A thank you to the University of Manitoba community
I thank all of the compassionate people who have given me their seat on the bus, or waited until the ramp has been lowered rather than pushing past me or into me, or expressed their support when the driver could not understand my need for assistance. I especially appreciate their generosity of spirit given that the disabilities causing my mobility challenges are hidden. Taxpayers should appreciate this kind of behavior, as it minimizes my use of Handi-Transit, which is an expensive system.
