BISON FOOTBALL NOTES

The Bisons travel to the University of Alberta for a date with the Golden Bears on Saturday afternoon.

After the poor effort his team executed in a sloppy win over the winless Simon Fraser University Clan, coach Brian Dobie said that his team would need a huge improvement if they hope to return home with a win. The Golden Bears are ranked third in the country (prior to Monday’s release of the CIS standings) with a 3-0 record and are coming off their bye-week.

The game can be heard on UMFM 101.5 at 3 p.m..

The Bisons close out the home portion of their regular season on Saturday, October 8th, when the University of Regina Rams visit. Game time is 1 p.m. and can be seen on Shaw cable 11 and heard on UMFM 101.5.
